The Power of Dynamics at Your School




In our facility the director, assistant director, administrator and teachers are the power dynamics.

It’s important to understand the dynamics of a structure or organization. The dynmics of any organization or sturcture determines the flow of that entity. A director sometime wear two hats they own and operate the facility, implement the policies and procedures established by the government. As an assistant director you are taking the place of the director in their absence.

Administrators organize the policies and procedures to be implemented by the staff, community and teachers. Teachers work with the entire community to educate the students, facilitate instruction from the director and provide parents with information to help their children.

How Strength-Based Leadership can support a community of practice ?


Strength-Based leadership can support a community of practice by utilizing the strengths of everyone in the community. These strengths will bring structure, stability and effective leadership. Stability will bring focus to the community. Effective leadership has the ability to create desired results by using the community strengths and weaknesses. Structure initiates the interpersonal relationships of the community.   While utilizing the strengths of the community success and growth can be achieved. Teacher leaders who understand how to utilize the strengths of those in the community will create the desired success.

The Importance of Flexibility in Leadership

Leadership is a valuable role on any level. There are many qualities a good leader should posses. Flexibility is a quality most leaders rarely posses. Since a Teacher Leader is responsible for the school operating at the standards required by the state it's located in the teacher leader must know what those standards are and how they should be implemented.
