Distributive Leadership

Distributive leadership was not in operation at my school. There was more of a dictatorship than distributive leadership. They never advertised the school, word of mouth from parents was the
only means of advertisement. Distributive leadership could increase growth therefore allowing stability in the company. Applying this concept will allow other staff members to handle certain responsibilities and minimize the directors responsibility. It could produce more productivity with staff and students. This concept could benefit the school financially if a collaborative effort is made by all involved.

Leadership Style and Theory

As I carefully consider the material I read my leadership style and theory is transformational and relational, inclusive of building, binding and bonding. My strengths connect me to the transformational leadership.  The reason  I say that is because my morals and beliefs usually play a big part in my decisions. These components connect me to the relational theory. Reflecting on my top five strengths as a developer, futuristic, input, responsibility and achiever they fit the category. A developer see the potential of others, visionary describe the futuristic side, gathering information is a display of having insight, being committed shows responsibility and productivity is the result of my desire to achieve. I firmly believe people can do anything they put their minds to with the right motivation and foundation. This help my school by increasing productivity and moral. It brings people together for the common good educating our students effectively and producing quality instruction.
