In our facility the director, assistant director,
administrator and teachers are the power dynamics.
It’s important to understand the dynamics of a
structure or organization. The dynmics of any organization or sturcture determines the flow of that entity. A director sometime wear two hats they own and operate the
facility, implement the policies and procedures established by the government.
As an assistant director you are taking the place of the director in their
absence.
Administrators organize the policies and procedures
to be implemented by the staff, community and teachers. Teachers work with the
entire community to educate the students, facilitate instruction from the
director and provide parents with information to help their children.
I like how you included everyone from the director to the teachers as the power dynamics. We often refer to only the principal as the power dynamics, however the teachers are just as involves as the director and should be looked at as persons who hold power.
